DAY 1
Journey from your home station to Bournemouth and, on arrival, we will make our way to the Queens Hotel for our overnight stay. We enjoy free time to explore our new surroundings before meeting for our first evening meal together.
DDAY 2
After breakfast this morning, we cross the English Channel to Jersey, renowned for its dramatic coastal scenery, stunning beaches, and peaceful green fields dotted with Jersey cows. We transfer to the Merton Hotel for our three-night stay and enjoy our evening meal together.
B, DDAY 3
After breakfast today, we begin our full day 'Round Island' excursion which includes the beautiful bay of St Brelade, a sweeping bay whose golden sands have been voted within the top three beaches of Britain. We journey along Jersey's beautiful west coast visiting St Ouen's Bay, the charming harbour village of St Aubin's, and the exquisite Jersey Pearl. We also see the iconic Corbiere Lighthouse, perched on a rock just off the island's southwestern shore, before returning to the hotel in time for our evening meal.
B, DDAY 4
Today, we enjoy a leisurely day in Jersey where we can maybe walk via the Howard Davis Park for shopping in central St Helier or take the hop-on/hop-off bus for visits to amazing attractions such as the world-famous Durrell Wildlife Park. Alternatively, we can visit the fascinating Jersey War Tunnels, a partially completed underground hospital complex in St Lawrence, built by German forces during the occupation of Jersey during World War II. After our day of exploration, we will reconvene at the hotel for our evening meal together.
B, DDAY 5
Today, we cross to Guernsey by ferry and enjoy an orientation tour by coach where we uncover the north of the island with the wonderful seascapes of Bordeaux, Pembroke, and L'Ancesse Bays. We continue to the ideally located Peninsula Hotel for our three-night stay and, after checking in, we spend the rest of the day at leisure to relax and enjoy our new surroundings before our evening meal together.
B, DDAY 6
After a relaxing morning in Guernsey, we journey to the beautiful Herm Island, a tranquil island with no cars, no crowds, and no pressure. With an active policy of preserving the island's pristine natural environment and peacefulness, the only way to arrive on Herm Island is by boat and, for many, Herm is a like a pilgrimage into the nostalgia of simpler times. We can sample island life and take in spectacular views before returning to Guernsey in time for our evening meal.
B, DDAY 7
Today, we cruise to the unique Isle of Sark, another world apart from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We tour this marvellous, car-free haven by horse and carriage exploring this tranquil hideaway with lush, dazzling wildflowers and secluded sandy beaches surrounded by huge cliffs, coves, and caves. The horse-drawn carriages trundle along the island's charming roads past spectacular natural landscapes and historical architecture and, after a relaxing day, why not finish your visit with a Sark cream tea.
B, DDAY 8
After a leisurely morning in Guernsey's capital of St Peter Port with its beautiful harbour, we depart for Poole and, on arrival, we return to the Queens Hotel in Bournemouth and enjoy our final evening meal together.
B, DDAY 9
After breakfast, we bid farewell to Bournemouth and make our way to the station for our homeward journeys.
