DAY 1
Journey from your home station to Tunbridge Wells and, on arrival, we will make our way to the Spa Hotel, our hotel for the next five nights. We enjoy free time to explore our new surroundings before meeting for our first evening meal together.
DDAY 2
After an early breakfast, we join our private coach which will take us to the stunning Leeds Castle where we will explore the castle on a private guided tour. We will then make our way to the Bird of Prey Centre located in the castle grounds for an amazing experience meeting the owls and learning of the different species and their long association with the castle. Afterwards, we enjoy a 2-course lunch in the incredible Castle View Restaurant before having some free time to continue exploring and our private coach will return us to the hotel in time for our evening meal.
B, L, DDAY 3
This morning, after a leisurely breakfast, we transfer to the romantic Scotney Castle where we enjoy time to explore this fairytale moated castle set within stunning rolling parkland. Afterwards, we continue to the Wildwood Vineyard, an award-winning vineyard producing beautiful premium wines, and we enjoy a guided tour and tasting before returning to the station and retracing our steps to the hotel for our evening meal together.
B, DDAY 4
After breakfast this morning, we travel by private coach to Tenterden station, home to the Kent & East Sussex Railway, where we journey to Bodiam passing through areas of outstanding natural beauty and following the unspoilt Rother Valley. On arrival, we take the short 10-minute walk to Bodiam Castle where we enjoy a guided tour of this picturesque, ancient, moated castle and there will be further time to discover the medieval ruins before we make the return journey to Tenterden. We enjoy free time to explore this wonderful station and the local town with its many independent shops before returning to the hotel in time for our evening meal.
B, DDAY 5
This morning, we visit the glorious Hever Castle & Gardens, once the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. After a private guided tour, we will enjoy time at leisure to explore this magnificent castle, learning of its rich and varied history and discovering its award-winning gardens before we return to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free to relax before reconvening for our final evening meal together.
B, DDAY 6
After breakfast, we bid farewell to Tunbridge Wells and make our way to the station for our homeward journeys.
