DAY 1

Departing from London Heathrow on the morning Lufthansa flight to Poland. After landing at Poznan Airport, we transfer by coach to Maltanka Park Railway where we enjoy a ride on their charming 600mm gauge railway. Afterwards, we board our exclusive vintage tram charter through the streets of Poznan, discovering the city's transport heritage, before we make our way to the DeSilva Hotel, our hotel for two nights, where we check in and enjoy our first evening meal together. Those on our Ground Only package will travel independently to Poznan Airport meeting us in time for our transfer to Maltanka Park Railway.

DAY 2

After breakfast this morning, we travel by private coach to Znin, where we board a diesel-hauled train for a journey along the 12km long, 600mm gauge railway to Gasawa and Wenecja. Here, we visit the fascinating Wenecja Railway Museum, home to an impressive collection of narrow-gauge locomotives, carriages, and rolling stock, before continuing by road to Bialosliwie where we enjoy an exclusive steam-hauled charter train on the historic 600mm gauge line to Poborka and return.

DAY 3

This morning, we travel by road to Sroda Miasto to join the railway's regular steam-hauled service for a scenic journey along the 14km, 750mm gauge line to Zaniemysl. On arrival, we can watch the train crew make their changes to the direction of travel, explore the station building, or stroll around one of the surrounding lakes before our return journey. Afterwards, we board a fast mainline train to Warsaw and make our way to the Radisson Blu Hotel where we check in for our two-night stay and enjoy our evening meal together.

DAY 4

Today, we make our way to Sochaczew to visit the renowned Narrow-Gauge Railway Museum, home to an impressive collection of locomotives, rolling stock, and railway artefacts. We will also ride their 18km, 750mm gauge line through charming locations and passing castle ruins to Wilcze Tulowskie and return. Later, we continue by road to Piaseczno for an exclusive steam charter on the historic 1000mm gauge railway through beautiful forest scenery to Tarczyn and back.

DAY 5

After breakfast, we travel by local train to Rogow to experience a special charter train along one of Poland's most historic narrow-gauge railways which has been operating for over 100 years. We will enjoy a nostalgic journey over the Rogow Narrow-Gauge Railway, an extensive 750mm gauge line, to Jezow and return. Afterwards, we will retrace our steps to Warsaw in time for the fast mainline train travelling south to Katowice, transferring to the Mercure Hotel for our two-night stay and enjoying our evening meal together.

DAY 6

This morning, we travel by rail to Bytom where an exclusive steam-hauled charter awaits on the historic 785mm gauge Upper Silesian Narrow-Gauge Railway, one of the oldest and most extensive narrow-gauge systems in Europe. This afternoon, we continue by coach to Rudy for another fantastic ride behind steam on the narrow-gauge railway to Rybnik Stodoly and return plus the opportunity for a photography session within the railway museum grounds including the exhibition rooms, rolling stock, and repair hall.

DAY 7

Today, we travel by train to Krakow, one of Poland's most beautiful and historic cities, where we enjoy an exclusive vintage tram charter offering a unique perspective of the city and its rich transport heritage. Afterwards, we make our way to Vienna House, our hotel for two nights, and we enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure, perhaps explore the Old Town, visit the fascinating Schindler's Museum, or relax in one of the many cafés before we reconvene for our evening meal together.

DAY 8

After breakfast this morning, we travel by fast train to Rzeszow where our private coach awaits to take us into the spectacular Bieszczady Mountains, one of Poland's most scenic and unspoilt regions. On arrival at Majdan, we board an exclusive steam-hauled charter train on the 750mm gauge Bieszczady Forest Railway, enjoying a nostalgic journey through beautiful mountain landscapes to Balnica and return. Later, we retrace our steps to Krakow and enjoy our final evening meal together.

DAY 9

After our fantastic Polish adventure, we make our way to Krakow Airport for our late morning Lufthansa flight to London Heathrow. Those on our Ground Only package will make their way independently to the airport for their chosen flight home.
