DAY 1

Journey from your home station to Blackpool and, on arrival, we will make our way to the Hampton by Hilton Hotel, our hotel for the next four nights. We enjoy free time to explore our new surroundings before meeting for our first evening meal together.

DAY 2

This morning, we board our private coach to Ravenglass for a return steam journey on the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway, affectionately known as the 'Ratty, where we can also visit the museum which houses a collection of artefacts ranging from steam locomotives down to tickets and uniforms. Afterwards, we continue to the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway for a ride behind steam before our relaxing cruise across the picturesque Lake Windermere to Ambleside where our coach will be waiting to return us to our hotel.

DAY 3

Today, our coach takes us to the East Lancashire Railway for their fantastic Autumn Steam Gala where we can ride up and down the line behind the railway's incredible home fleet, as well as potential special guests. Our tickets allow for unlimited rides on the intensive, all steam service alongside demonstration goods trains, railway workshops, and more. We can also visit the superb Bury Transport Museum packed with historic vehicles of every shape and size before returning to Blackpool for an evening at leisure to stroll the promenade and explore the famous illuminations.

DAY 4

After breakfast this morning, we enjoy a fabulous trip to the Dales as we visit the lovingly restored Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway for a journey through stunning Yorkshire scenery along the former Skipton-Ilkley Line, which was built in 1888. After enjoying some free time in Skipton, we rejoin our coach to the West Lancashire Light Railway and journey on this heritage, narrow-gauge railway through woodland scenery, exploring their collection of industrial locomotives before returning to our hotel for our final evening at leisure.

DAY 5

After breakfast, we bid farewell to Blackpool and make our way to the station for our homeward journeys.
