Harrogate New Year Celebration

DAY 1

Journey from your home station to Harrogate and, on arrival, we will make our way to the Crown Hotel, our hotel for the next three nights. We enjoy free time to explore our new surroundings before meeting for our first evening meal together.

DAY 2

After breakfast this morning, we travel by rail to York where we enjoy time at leisure to explore the city's hidden gems and iconic historic buildings. You can stroll through the medieval cobbled lanes in the iconic Shambles, visit the magnificent York Minster, indulge at Betty's Tearoom, shop at one of the many unique independent shops, or walk the ancient Roman city walls before we retrace our steps to Harrogate. On our return to the hotel, we enjoy a cream tea ahead of our New Year's Eve Gala including entertainment as we welcome in the New Year.

DAY 3

Happy New Year! This morning, our private coach takes us to Oxenhope to visit the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, a unique 5-mile branch line railway set in the heart of Yorkshire, travelling through the heart of Brontë country and indulging in a festive mince pie on board. On our return to Harrogate, we enjoy a light lunch at the hotel and this afternoon is at leisure to relax at the hotel, stroll through the Valley Gardens, or explore Harrogate before we reconvene for our final evening meal together.

DAY 4

After breakfast, we bid farewell to Harrogate and make our way to the station for our homeward journeys.
