Cornish Christmas Special

DAY 1

Journey from your home station to Newquay and, on arrival, we will make our way to the Barrowfield Hotel, our hotel for the next five nights. We begin our stay with a warm festive welcome enjoying freshly served mince pies, tea, and coffee. Take time to explore the hotel's facilities or relax in the comfort of the lounge before joining your fellow guests for a sparkling Bucks Fizz reception followed by a delicious evening meal. The evening continues with lively entertainment ensuring a memorable start to your Christmas experience.

DAY 2

After a hearty English breakfast this morning, there is the opportunity to join an inclusive mystery tour, an enjoyable outing to discover a surprise destination, returning to the hotel in time for our lunch together. Alternatively, you may wish to explore Newquay and, perhaps, complete some last-minute Christmas shopping. Afterwards, we enjoy a traditional afternoon tea, accompanied by a festive game of Bingo, a perfect way to relax and unwind ahead of our evening meal together followed by a full entertainment programme in the bar with a fabulous live performance.

DAY 3

Merry Christmas! Wake up to the excitement and magic of Christmas and join your fellow guests in the restaurant for a leisurely festive breakfast with an appearance from Father Christmas with morning coffee, festive games, and plenty of seasonal cheers as the celebrations get underway. This afternoon, we will indulge in a wonderful traditional Christmas Day lunch with all the trimmings and, afterwards, we can watch the King's Speech in the lounge. The festivities continue with an afternoon tea and Prize Bingo where we have the chance to win some seasonal treats ahead of a spectacular Gala buffet dinner providing a wonderful selection of festive dishes alongside lively entertainment to ensure Christmas Day ends on a high note.

DAY 4

After breakfast this morning, you are invited to join an inclusive scenic coach tour to explore the highlights of Newquay, returning to the hotel in time for lunch. Alternatively, you can relax in the lounge with morning coffee and a selection of light-hearted games before reconvening at the restaurant for lunch. This afternoon, a festive quiz and afternoon tea will be provided allowing the perfect opportunity to relax and reflect on the Christmas celebrations. This evening, we enjoy a sumptuous Boxing Day dinner celebrating the winners of the Christmas competitions alongside evening entertainment.

DAY 5

Today, you may wish to use the included rail ticket and visit Truro to explore the city's stories at one of the museums and galleries, visit the iconic Truro Cathedral, or discover the gardens and cafés. A light lunch will be served at the hotel on our return with a lively quiz and games provided in the lounge, accompanied by afternoon tea. This evening, we enjoy a delicious dinner and live entertainment to conclude our festive celebrations in style.

DAY 6

After breakfast, we bid farewell to Newquay and make our way to the station for our homeward journeys.
